Refund & Return Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your Solarwyse purchase. This policy outlines the conditions under which returns and refunds are accepted. If you have questions before or after a purchase, please contact us — we're happy to help.
1. Return Eligibility Window
You may return most items within 30 days of the delivery date, provided the conditions below are met. Returns requested after 30 days will not be accepted unless the item is defective or covered under a manufacturer warranty claim.
2. Conditions for Return
To be eligible for a return, items must be:
- Unused and uninstalled — products that have been connected, mounted, or used in any way are not eligible for return
- In original condition — in the original packaging, with all accessories, documentation, and hardware included
- Undamaged — items showing physical damage not present at the time of delivery will not be accepted
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Electrical components that have been installed, wired, or connected to any system
- Custom-configured or special-order products (including custom solar packages)
- Items marked "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable" on the product listing
- Products that have been modified or had their labels or serial numbers removed
- Batteries that have been charged or discharged (for safety and liability reasons)
4. Restocking Fee
Approved returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, deducted from your refund. This covers the cost of inspection, repackaging, and return processing.
The restocking fee is waived only in cases where the item was received defective or damaged in transit (see Section 6).
5. How to Initiate a Return
- Contact us at sales@solarwyse.ca or 1-888-402-4376 to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
- Include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
- Once approved, we will provide return shipping instructions. Do not ship items without an RMA number — unauthorized returns will be refused.
- Pack the item securely in its original packaging and include the RMA number on the outside of the box.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item was received defective or damaged.
6. Damaged or Defective Items
If your order arrives damaged in transit, or if a product is defective upon arrival:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery for transit damage
- Provide photographs of the damaged packaging and product
- We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you
For products that develop a defect after installation, please refer to the manufacturer's warranty. We will assist in facilitating warranty claims on your behalf.
7. Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of approval or rejection within 3–5 business days. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or card issuer.
8. Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled without penalty before they have been shipped. Once an order has shipped, it must go through the standard return process. To cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible at sales@solarwyse.ca.
